Meet the Developers

The core of Teotl Studios is made up of three main developers:


Sjoerd De Jong - Project Lead and Creative Director
A veteran in game development, throughout his career he has worked for a number of studios. These include Guerrilla Games, Khaeon Games, Webzen, Epic Games, Starbreeze and Digital Extremes. Shipped games that he has contributed to include Shellshock 'Nam 67, Killzone, Unreal Tournament 2004, Warpath, Huxley, Syndicate and The Chronicles of Spellborn.

He has also authored two books focusing on the game development and the industry while continuing to educate young developers as a lecturer in various educational institutions.



Markus Palviainen - Lead Artist
Markus is a Swedish artist well-versed in creating characters and environments from concept to game-ready asset. He has previously worked at the game development studios Recoil Games and Junebud, and he is a graduate of the School of Future Entertainment.






Markus Arvidsson - Lead Programmer
He knows UnrealScript like no one else. Markus guides the development team on a technical level. His ambition is to establish a strong technical knowledge within our studio. Markus graduated at Lund University.
